Pause System Audio on Recording Start
Paraspeech is great! Any thoughts on pausing all system audio while recording is in progress? I often have music playing and I need to manually pause it so the mic doesnt pic it up.

In any case I really hope it's a optional feature and not across all recordings because that's the very reason why I bought it. I always listen to music and some other system pause the music each time I want to speak and it's so annoying. I guess it could be a good idea if it's optional, such as selection in parameter (cut all other audio, yes or no) but but now not as a unilateral way of doing things. What do you think?

yes, it'd be optional. not great if a hard mandate. the setting would be conditional based on current system in/out if audio out = not headphones, and if input = not headphones, pause system audio on input start.
Hey yeah, that's a cool idea, but I've tried this before and it can cause issues since macOS has very, very weird behavior sometimes and muting/dampening audio was more reliable. Might revisit again in the future!
