Dictation Delay Bug

I use the function hold key as a shortcut to start dictation, but there's at least a two-second delay between hearing the noise indicator of recording and the actual recording so it is cutting me off at the very beginning all the time. Are there any settings that I should be using to improve this? Because it's starting to get longer and longer each time I use this delay function, I have been switching between different models, trying to make it as easy as possible. But I'm trying to figure what's going on as the delay is still there.Thanks!

Hey, this is definitely not supposed to happen. Please wait for the 1.6 release (coming soon) and see if it's fixed, otherwise feel free to reopen this please!

I've added a screenshot of my settings below. If this is just a feature, that there is a two-second delay on the time it takes from pressing the holding the function button to dictation, then there needs to be a delay in the audio notification on the laptop. If there's a setting to preload the recording function, then that so we can have instant dictation, then that would be better.
